a letter from my Bro RV.M with the unwelcome news of the death of Wells boy John Conway Morris burnt to death through lightng a match in the straw near the stable he was 4 years old died in 3 hours after the recued from the flames the only boy of his Mother Mary

L. Morris The Funeral Sermon was delivered by Elders Taylor and Cannon of the Quorum of the twelve with all my gruf and trouble I had strenght to fulfill an appointment at [Gelly dig?]
