WILLIAM OWENS
William Owens was the son of
William and Eleanor Evans Owens. He was
born at Merionethshire, North Wales. He was baptized on November 30, 1848 at Ffestiniog, Wales, by David Eames.
William came to America with his parents in the spring of 1849. He was stricken with cholera while on the
boat going up the Mississippi
River. He died and was buried on the banks of the
river on May 8, 1849.
JANE OWENS
Jane Owens was born at Merionethshire, North Wales. She was the daughter of William and Eleanor
Evans Owens.
She came to America with her parents.
While sailing up the Mississippi
River, she was stricken with
cholera and died and was buried on the banks of the river on May 7, 1849.
RICHARD OWENS
Richard Owens was born at Merionethshire, North Wales. He was the son of William and Eleanor Evans
Owens. He was baptized on October 12, 1848 by David Peters.
He came to America with his parents in the spring of 1849. While on the boat going up the Missisippi River, he was stricken with cholera and died. He was buried on the banks of the river on May 18, 1849.
ALICE OWENS
Alice Owens was born at Merionethshire, North Wales. She was daughter of William and Eleanor Evans
Owens. She was baptized on November 30,
1848 by David Eames at Fistinog, Wales.
She came to America with her parents in 1849. While sailing up the Mississippi River from New Orleans, she was stricken with cholera and died and was buried
on the banks of the river on May 8, 1849.
