Signed by D. Jones, Head President. _________ Conference President. Dated April 4th, 1846. *** The office of ELDER is to preach, instruct, and baptize; to lay on hands on those who are baptized, to confirm them members, and that they may receive the Holy Ghost. It is also for him to administer the sacrament, and to preside in every meeting, as he is guided by the Holy Ghost. According to the Doc. and Cov. N.B.
